It certainly seems like SpamAssassin would be too heavy for the Bubba, but I haven't had a chance to look at the alternatives yet. I would certainly be interested in seeing what is possible.

You are better posting questions like this under requests for support.

I suspect that you have a firewall somewhere blocking access. I had to open ports 80 & 25 on my wireless router before I could get the update and mail checking functions to work.

If you decide to install phpMyAdmin to manage your MySQL databases on the Bubba then be aware that the default apt-get install puts the link in /var/www meaning you will not see it from the Bubba's webserver root which is in /var/www/html. The man page for Fetchmail says that "options" is a noise keyword and should be ignored by the program. Has anyone else had issues when using ssl to access pop email addresses?

A very elegant solution bubbalibre, I like it! Not only does it deal with the spam issue, but it adds several gigabytes of secure, off-site back-up for my more important emails.

I will set my webhost to forward all mail to the new Gmail account, then POP that from the Bubba. Thanks a lot.
