Re: TKIP support for wifi

You mean being able to select it through the GUI?

It is available, just edit /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
and use

Code: Select all

wpa_pairwise=TKIP CCMP
rsn_pairwise=TKIP CCMP
then restart
/etc/init.d/hostapd restart

Re: Tor + socks5

This is exactly why I will never host a TOR node.
Although I support privacy and the right of anonymity and the TOR project.
The chance that criminal behavior could be conducted through my connection,
is unacceptable to me.
Also exactly the reason I could never be a lawyer :wink:

Did you try connecting to the LAN port directly (without the router?)
Can you answer Binkem's question?

Re: No access to new Excito B3

Indeed probably the denyhosts.
So, get out the rescue USB and do

Code: Select all

echo "sshd: ALL" >> /etc/hosts.allow
check that the file /etc/hosts.deny is empty and reboot.

Re: B3 web interface broken in Opera 11.6

haha :D
I wouldn't dare!
I love Opera, used it for many years, but so many sites didn't work.
So now I work with Chrome, Firefox and IE
depending on the site I need to visit.
And I thought everyone was starting to build more compliant sites and browsers...

Re: Iptables restore scheduled?

That's a good idea.
For now i just saved my iptables as firewall.conf :lol:
When I have time I'll make the script smart and submit it to excito for a future update.
