Re: Release notes for Bubba 2 software version 2.0.5
Okay, I do admit that it was quite awhile since I updated the last time. The reason is that the last time I did update (well over a century ago :) ) the update did not progress too smoothly. The nice guys at Excito told me that the reason for this was that I had one of the first B2 units shipped and...

Re: Release notes for Bubba 2 software version 2.0.5
I was shown a progress bar that never (well anyway after 25 minutes) hadn't changed value from 0%.
Then I pressed F5 and was shown the regular first "Update system" button again.
Should I have waited even longer ?

Re: Release notes for Bubba 2 software version 2.0.5
Hi, I tried the following How to upgrade To upgrade a running system, make sure you don't have any activities running such as uploads, downloads, print jobs etc. Then log in as admin in web-ui. Choose "Settings" menu entry. Choose "Software update" in the sub menu. Press the &quo...

Re: How do you access your music from the outside?
Oh.... If it is slow on a B3 I think I'll "abandon ship" on my B2 installation since my B2 is fairly busy running Squeezecenter as is....

Re: How do you access your music from the outside?
I have a co-worker that do recommend Subsonic . He claims that it works great to stream to the Android client (I saw it and it looks good) and to his PC at work, but since he runs the server on a regular Linux dist PC he couldn't vouch for how it would behave on a B2/B3. I guess performance might be...

Re: Homeautomation 1.2
Just a thought that struck me now. What about if you rename tdtool to something else (tdtool.therealthing) and make a bash script named tdtool. And then you make that bash script call tdtool.therealthing a couple of times, maybe with some delay in between and just send on the arguments? Pure brains...

Re: Homeautomation 1.2
Ok. Seems you are experiencing a bug that we had in 1.2.0 and that we thought we'd got rid of for good. If you'd like to help us error searching you could do the following: 1. In the file ajax/ajax.js, go to line 144 and remove the double slashes commenting out the row. 2. Reload the web page (usin...

Re: Homeautomation 1.2
Hi Daniel, After a (really) long dealy I have finally upgraded to HomeAutomation v1.2.2. I like the fact that the floorplan page does not get reloaded on my X10 mini (also a happy user, but I have to be since I work @ SEMC :) ) Anyway, it seems as if the floorplan lamp icons does not get re-loaded w...

Re: Homeautomation 1.2
Welcome "back" Daniel !! :-) Good news to hear that A) you've purchased a B3 and B) that you've released a new version of Homeautomation. I'm looking forward to the reload part since I'm still pretty annoyed with the fact that the Tellstick seems to fail in sending the message some 6 meter...

Re: Spotify
However, it would cool for those of us who have a connected Squeezebox to our B2. :) I don't think that this is a B2 matter as such, but wouldn't it be nice to have Spotify support using the B2 + SB combo ? The only thing I've found so far is a plug-in which runs on Windows or Linux (x86) which does...

Re: Homeautomation 1.1
I have used Homeautomation 1.0 for some time now, and even though the actual hardware (Tellstick) seem to have one or two flaws, I must say that HomeAutomation is what makes all worthwhile !! :D The upgrade (or the fresh install as it turned out to be for be) from 1.0 to 1.1 was pain-free, but witho...
