Re: 2A enough for B3 POE splitter?
Hi, Normal operation B3 draws about 0,9 - 1 (A) (under disk usage) WD Green 1T. So I think 2 A will be OK but to be sure you need to measure the power up current. (spinning up hdd will draw more than 1 A...) Is the converter stable enough including the POE switch? I think a normal power supply will ...

I'm having problems with DNS myownb3.com.
It seams not to be working anymore....
3 addresses of my b3 bubba's are not accessable anymore.
Is this service stopped?
Thanks in advance.

Re: xxxmyownb3.com with letsencrypt
fredrikj, Thanks for your reply. It's working now, port 80 was not open for LetsEncrypt servers. (only for known ip addresses). Would like to open port 80 only for LetsEncrypt (forwarding in my router) but can't due to the fact LetsEncrypt does not publish IP addresses for validating certificates. S...

Re: Remote shutdown
Yes if you have shell remote access its possible however external shell acces should be safe!
Do not expose port 22 to the whole internet but maybe only from one IP address.
You can install webmin and shutdown from the webinterface, might be an option.
