Re: Native support for NO-IP
I'm using ddclient myself but I didn't see no-ip as any of their supported protocols. However no-ip.com offers a linux client for you to use: http://www.no-ip.com/downloads.php?page=linux

You don't need to restart the bubba but only the dnsmasq process.
Code: Select all
# /etc/init.d/dnsmasq restart

Just edit the /etc/dnsmasq.conf and add lines similar to this:
Code: Select all
# Always give the host with ethernet address 11:22:33:44:55:66
# the name fred and IP address 192.168.0.60 and lease time 45 minutes
dhcp-host=11:22:33:44:55:66,fred,192.168.0.60,45m

It does work from the web and I didnt compile anything that I remeber... however, I'm not sure it provides you with a total transferred bytes that you are looking for.
Still, it's a nice feature to see graphs for your bandwidth usage.
There's a demo page at http://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/

I wonder if a simple forever loop would work that simply reads a few lines from the system log? Something like this perhaps? while [ true ];do sleep 5 tail /var/log/messages >NUL done Someone with a bit more knowledge in scripting should probably comment on this. For instance, I'm not sure if the sc...
