Re: Debian stretch (9) image 1.0 released for B3
The installation was very easy and straight forward! Thank you for the good work MouettE The prolem is, I can't figure out how to get Squeezebox Server running. I installed http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.9/sc/03ab5b5/logitechmediaserver_7.9.1~1502887423_arm.deb, but it complains about P...

Re: Debian dist-upgrade on B2 & B3
So does the b3-utils replace the bubba-buttond and bubba-status which I have installed. If so this could maby be reflected in the configuration of the b3-utils package. I had already set the excito jessie repository manually and run an update to see if there was any update to how the led is handled ...

Re: Debian dist-upgrade on B2 & B3
However I am currently preparing fresh jessie images for the b3. These will be based on the 3.18.x kernel branch and kernel packages are ready. You can install it inside your chroot with these commands I have upgraded to jessie and the kernel you provided. One tiny problem is that controlling the l...

Re: Kernel 3.2 for B2/B3
basd82. How did you manage to install the old kernel back? What I tend to do is to boot with an rescue stick and mount / that is usually /dev/sdb1 and then change the root folder mount /dev/sda1 /mnt chroot /mnt /bin/bash After that you do have an bash believing it runs from the hard drive and you ...

Re: Kernel 3.2 for B2/B3
Hi MouettE, Thanks for all the work. The wireless card on the B2 does unfortunately not work with your kernel since one important driver options is missing. I guess it will be the same for the B3 but I have not had time to test that yet since I did brick my B3 trying to upgrade Uboot. The latest ker...

Re: Update UBOOT from OS
I did brick my B3 trying to flash a new Uboot and is now waiting for an serial cable  I did use flash_erase /dev/mtd0 0 0 instead of the flash_eraseall /dev/mtd0 which might have been a mistake. So others might be better of using the flash_eraseall which others have had success with. It might o...

Re: Minimal wheezy install images for b3
That is absolutely right, that's why you need to immediately reinstall openssh-server and lvm2 after removing excito related packages. Note that removing the openssh-server does not kill opened ssh sessions it's only prenventing you from opening new ones. Rebooting without reinstalling will definit...

Re: B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
Maby you should look into the firewall rules. It should not increas the bot time but it can defenitly make it impossible to ssh into the bubba.

Re: I have been attacked and don't know why.
[quote="Ubi"The reason why I'm skeptical is that specifically attacking B23 is not a very smart move, considering the install base is not gigantic and they are generally on consumer-grade DSL lines.[/quote] Even if the original attack was not for the B2 or B3 there is always a chance that ...
