Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 version 2.0.2

Regarding the hosts file, this is rewritten only when changing profiles, and it is code in this process that have been rewritten. Regarding the firewall config, this was a bad choice of words, again it is the code that handles changes to the config that is rewritten, not the firewallconfig itself. ...

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 version 2.0.2

[*] Updates to hosts file, partial solving name resolution problems. [*] Updates to firewall configuration, solving problems with removing old firewall rules. Since these files are dangerous to touch in a live system, could you please explain what exactly is done to /etc/hosts and also what is done...

Re: transefer speed low since 2.0

Before I had 6.3 mb/sec. and after 2.0 (with no other changes, network, cables ie) I have 2.0 mb/sec. Puma Strange, using 'wget' in a loop to retrieve 100MB files (on a relative slow laptop) I get this: 2010-04-29 12:47:32 (8.25 MB/s) - `100mb.bin' saved [104900000] 2010-04-29 12:47:45 (8.89 MB/s) ...

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0

Hi Pa, And Will, the exception is not normal, we will have to get back to you on that. Did this occur prior or after the required reboot? It is what I noticed from syslog after bubba was rebooted (after upgrading). The exception report was surrounded by avahi and ifplugd lines about not finding eth0...

Wrong file timestamps?

I notice that file timestamps lack the microseconds part (i.e. set to 000000000) See example below $ touch a $ touch aa $ touch aaa $ stat a aa aaa File: `a' Size: 0 Blocks: 0 IO Block: 4096 regular empty file Device: fd00h/64768d Inode: 5914756 Links: 1 Access: (0666/-rw-rw-rw-) Uid: ( 1001/ wil) G...

Re: What will WLAN add-on look like?

Carl,
The wLAN will be internal attached to the PCI port visible on the card. There will be external three antennas, which will be attached to an new back plate.
Since you are about to design a new back plate, will it be possible to design-in some kind of connector for Bubba's serial port(s)?

Re: trying to add smart UPS

Janek,
I allready tried it, but it does not fit for me, because I need more recent NUT version with megatec_usb driver for my UPS.
I think you should also get the USB driver:

Code: Select all

apt-get install nut-usb
BTW, did anyone already succeed using NUT with a APC Smart-UPS?
