Re: Patch for bash?

Would you stake your childrens' life that nothing on the B3 is remotely vulnerable because of this bug? If so, then good for you. I disabled CGI on mine when we had the last apache vulnerability, but are you sure the B3's implementation of CGI is not vulnerable? The B3 runs FTP by default, have you ...

Re: Excito in bankruptcy

Sad indeed. I got the impression they were doing quite well with V1 or whatever it's called. Some practical questions: 1. Can we expect Easyfind to stop working soon? 2. Obviously the forum domain has changed recently. Where is it being hosted, who owns the domain and who is paying for it all? 3. Sa...

Re: Patch for bash?

You need to have a higher post count - its spam protection.

I hadn't considered roundcube might be vulnerable, I use that myself. Maybe one of the forum admins can lift the block on you posting URLs.

Re: Patch for bash?

B2/B3 runs CGI by default does it not? And is therefore potentially vulnerable by that method. The one I'm most concerned about is the attack vector through DHCP. We've just been discussing at work about how that would work - DHCP client goes to DHCP server and says e.g. "what's my domain name&...

Re: Gentoo live USB for B3 (with Linux 3.15.9) released

I haven't been very active on these forums lately but have been following all these "alternative OS" projects and just want to say well done and thanks to you and everyone else involved with these projects.

Re: B3, Logitech SqueezeServer

I used to get a similar problem with my Sky (satellite TV) box. I ended up creating a cron job that restarts hostapd (the wifi daemon) every morning and so far it's all been OK.

johannes wrote:Yes, it works nicely with the b3. Note that this weekend we have a campaign so with the BUBBA code, it's only 295 SEK! (About 30 EUR).

And about raspberry pi and the likes, they are quite techy to use, this product is made to be easy.
Oh sure. My comment was aimed specifically at Ubi.

Re: Shutdown and Wake on lan

no that does not work on the B3 (at least untill recently), you need to set a special magic key somewhere in /proc. If you don't do this the system will go into zombie mode. Maybe I'm wrong and the behaviour of shutdown has changed in the last version. I dont turn off the B3 regularly Well shutdown...

Yeah, but that was months (or years?) ago. Not sure why this problem would suddenly occur now if it was related to that.
