inotify support

Hi, I'm trying to compile some software that uses inotify (mpd 0.16), but during ./configure it says: checking for inotify_init... no checking for inotify_init1... no Is there no inotify support in the bubba kernel? This is my uname -a output: Linux witlof 2.6.26.5 #3 Thu Aug 6 14:46:56 CEST 2009 pp...

Re: FTD commandline

Ah yes I see.

Is ftd homegrown excito software? I couldn't really find anything about it on the net...

Re: web server when in server only mode

My sources.list includes:

deb http://update.excito.org/ marielle main
deb http://update.excito.org/ upstream_etch main
deb http://ftp.se.debian.org/debian etch main

Don't forget to 'apt-get update' if you change your sources.list ;)

Re: web server when in server only mode

Did you try to reach your public ip from outside your local lan?

Maybe you can use tcpdump to check if the internet traffic actually arrives at your bubba;

Code: Select all

$ su root
# apt-get install tcpdump
# tcpdump -i eth1 port 80

Re: FTD commandline

No, ftd is bubba's torrent downloader behind the web interface :wink:

In the mean time I hacked together a cli interface myself, if anyone's interested, let me know.

FTD commandline

Hi,

I was just wondering, is there a commandline interface to ftd? :D I don't want to open up the admin panel to the internet, but I do want to be able to login with ssh and add downloads.

Re: A light in the USB darkness

Thanks for the info!

I also installed mpd now, and it works like a charm. I use the Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Go! and it worked right out of the box. After installing alsa and settings perms on /dev/mixer and /dev/dsp I was good to go :D

Re: Wrong file timestamps?

Default debian installs don't seem to show subsecond timestamps by default.

Playing music?

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a Bubba2, but I noticed it doesn't have a soundcard. Would it be possible though to have a usb-soundcard? Has anybody tried this?

Thanks :D
