Re: eSATA connector help
1) A eSATA HD needs to be externally powered! 2)FYI from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA The external cable connector equates to a shielded version of the connector specified in SATA 1.0a with these basic differences: The external connector has no "L"-shaped key, and the...

Re: BUBBA|2 WiFi with WLAN problem
This thread is about the same problem:
http://forum.excito.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2390
Only a reboot helps me out, after a reboot wlan is OK for some days/weeks - then problems start again.
Is there something in the logfiles I can search for to localize the problem?

Re: A Kernel with ecryptfs Support
Personally I plan to write a simple webinterface for unlocking. The point of the encryption in my case is to secure the data when someone breaks into my house steals takes the B3 with him not to secure my data against other Bubba users. Suggestion: For that purpose I installed Truecrypt on my Bubba...

Re: install ntfs-3g
You have to change deb http://ftp.se.debian.org/debian etch main with deb http://archive.debian.org/debian etch main in sources.list, then run apt-get update and install with apt-get install ntfs-3g I installed ntfs-3g on my Bubba Two, but: low transfer speed compared to fat or ext file transfer res...

Re: Can't Access Bubba
Try this: Shut down your Bubba Two (hold the power button until the led flashes); wait till the led stops flashing; connect the LAN port of your Bubba to a LAN port on your router or switch; leave the WAN port of the Bubba empty; power on; normally your Bubba will get an IP address trough DHCP from ...

Re: wireless disassociating
FYI - I made a clean 2.0 install and afterwords updated to 2.0.2 Today I only had wireless connection with my netbook and the problem has disappeared from syslog. I'll check some more logfiles in the near future but maybe the problem is hardware (laptop) related. When I get something I'll post my fi...

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 version 2.0.2
It looks like the update was OK had to cut the power for restart - restart trough the interface caused Bubba to hang hereafter everything seems to work fine except wifi "n" - how can I check, activate, troubleshoot wifi "n"? I'm afraid this still replaced my firewall code with it...

Did you reset the cable modem? May be a DHCP release problem?
