B2 Upgrade from 2.0.4
Hi, I haven't upgraded my B2 (having a 1 TB disk) in quite a while but since I have wifi/sponaneous reboot issues I feel its about time I do some upgrading. Are there any special consideration I need to take in making a leap from 2.0.4? Do I have to make intemediate updates before taking on the late...

Re: Installing lame
Thanks for the info, I'll keep it as reference should I ever take on this path again.
For now, the workaround actually has an additional value in that it ease the bubba2's processing burden.
When I, if ever, get a B3 I'll certainly reconsider.

Re: Photo album with support for movies
I implemented a totally seperate album framework. Some notes on my implementation: In folders having the relevant files (.jpg, .mov) i create a _web_info_ folder, containing the downscaled equivalents: _web_info_/thumbnails: 90px wide thumbnails .jpg's. _web_info_/photo : 450px wide downscaled .jpg'...

Re: Installing lame
I've given up this path.
My workaround:
A script on my PC that
1. Dowloads the .mov from the bubba (FTP). (Optional step - file is typically already on the PC.)
2. Generates a .flv from it.
3. Uploads the .flv to the bubba (FTP)

Re: Howto: Virtual hosts on Bubba
Anyone understands why http://havsnas.se goes to the bubba-admin page, whilest http://www.havsnas.se works as it is supposed to? I'd expect the NameVirtualHost directive to be required (though it isn't mentioned in the HowTo). That is NameVirtualHost *:80 <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.havsnas.s...

Installing lame
Hi, how do i install lame (and get it working? ) What I'm driving at is to get a MOV-to-FLV-conversion like this ffmpeg -y -i someFile.mov -vcodec flv -b 250k -acodec libmp3lame -ab 64k -ar 22050 -ac 1 -s 240x180 someFile.flv to work, but it complains about missing libmp3lame encoder. I tried...

Thanks for the advice, but I'll write my own for various reasons.eds_oyo wrote:I think it is a better solution to use a gallery like e.g. Zenphoto wich has built in support both .mov, .flv and more.

Photo album with support for movies
Hi, wasn't sure to post this as a feature request or "how can I tweak this myself". In my current photo album (which I'm planning to phase out in favour of my shiny new Bubba2) I support mixing photos and films, using ffmpeg (executed on windows) to convert the movies (in my case .MOV from...

Problem solved thanks to excellent support.
Apparently there was something in the Bubba that needed a nudge.

No FTP
Hi, just got my bubba2. Can't seem to access it with FTP though. C:\MyPath>ftp 192.168.10.1 Connected to 192.168.10.1. Connection closed by remote host. Yes, I've created user accounts. Yes, FTP is On in the admin/services UI. Current package versions Package name Package version bubba-frontend 1.9....
