Re: New Arch Linux Live-USB for B3 Released

Sorry, in the end it was the usb key that had a problem, I'm not clear which, but it worked with another one (after I retried everything from zero with the first one with no success).

Thanks for your detailed and helpful reply in any case!

Re: New Arch Linux Live-USB for B3 Released

Hi, I tried today to boot on the image for arch but after a few seconds of no light (it is green first, then off), the light simply turns red. Is there any way to find what goes wrong? Is there some logs somewhere maybe on the key? I used the same usb key I used for installing the debian jessie imag...

Hi, since this update it seems I can't log in the album anymore.
I tried unix users and album users and none of them work…

Re: Restore out-of-box iptables settings

Hi thanks,

With a bit of adaptation I managed to use it :)

That would be really nice to have a better firewall configuration application, this is one seems very sensible to deviations from the normal usage.

Restore out-of-box iptables settings

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to reset completely the iptables configuration. The problem is that I have been using ufw for some times (and put an ugly exit 0 in bubba-firewall init.d script :) but with the new update it seems there is a lot of needed modules not included in the kernel ...

Re: LAN and WAN interfaces on the same network (DMZ)

Hi, For the record I finally found a solution for this problem. Short answer is that ARP is answering for all IP on all interfaces, so other computers are confused, this should be set in syctl to prevent it: net.ipv4.conf.all.arp_ignore=1 net.ipv4.conf.all.arp_announce=2 More explanations there: htt...

Re: Stop torrents when uploaded enough

Hi, I don't know the answer, but I would like to add another request linked to this one: It would be nice to download the torrents in a temporary folder and move them to the downloads one when they are finished. It would enable scripts that poll repeatedly the downloads folder to process its content...

Re: LAN and WAN interfaces on the same network (DMZ)

The problem may be that victor also wants to use his router as a switch. I think the problem may be that bubba's wan and lan ports may not be on the same subnet. Yes, it is exactly that? For now, what I did is that I configured the B3 as Router/Server/Firewall and then I changed the configuration o...

Re: LAN and WAN interfaces on the same network (DMZ)

Sadly no, the router is a modem/router that handle also my phone line, tv, wifi, etc… So the only thing I can do is to plug it behind. I think I will just try to see if it works and check firewalling, I was hoping someone had some insight about it and ideas of where to check if there was some tweaki...

LAN and WAN interfaces on the same network (DMZ)

Hi, I am a new happy owner of a B3 and I am facing my first network configuration question. My network has this very simple topology: net --- router --- lan For now, I plugged my b3 on the lan port on the lan of the network, next to all the other computers plugged by ethernet or by wifi. I have the ...
