I ended up reinstalling 2.4.1 from scratch and it's up and running again.
If this repeats after upgrading again I'll write to the email.
Thanks a lot

b2 Wifi broken after 2.4.2 upgrade
Hi there, Yesterday I upgraded my b2 software to 2.4.2 (and rebooted) and my bubba2 is no more working as wireless access point. Cabled lan and wan do work as usual, but if I try to turn wifi on from the Admin interface, I turn the "switch" on, then "update" and it goes back to o...

Re: Parental control
Didi some research, found this thread and a good solution.
Bubba can rely on a chosen DNS, whay not choosing OpenDNS with the option parental control and use it as a default DNS on bubba? I think this would do the trick...
Best regards

Re: Some suggestions
Topic 3 I use firefly, and I quite like it, though I still need to fix minor stuff. But, the web client is flash based and I think this can be done better. Whith the new standards, I think this is avoidable and there's the chance to use free sw for this stuff also (and even more, also videos can be...

Re: Forked-daapd for Airport express / iOS -owners :)
quite strange, if you look here http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=libsqlite3-0&searchon=names&suite=stable§ion=all libsqlite3-0 in debian repos is in 3.7.3-1 version, while your system states that 3.7.2-1 is to be installed, which is quite strange it might be that excito rep...

Re: Forked-daapd for Airport express / iOS -owners :)
tz tz
alone, without the package name
this should fix the apt-get existing issues
btw, seen the error, I'm not sure it will solve the problem, as the problem seems related to a package version requirement, intead than a missing dependency...
anyway the above cannot hurt
Code: Select all
apt-get install -f

Re: Samsung ML 1640 printer not working on bubba 2
Don't know if this migh interest. After a couple of nights, I managed to get the printer working. how? couldn't really say. I installed a bunch of packages from debian repos, among which many from gutenprint, foomatic and openprinting.org. Then I installed directly from cups, chosing the ML 1710 pri...

Re: Forked-daapd for Airport express / iOS -owners :)
johannes' way is better, I didn't know this feature.
Is this working also on bubba2?
to johannes:Is there some manual on similar features? Is there some explanation of the different distributions for B3 and bubba2?

Re: Forked-daapd for Airport express / iOS -owners :)
no time for a full tutorial, here you have some instructions, take them as general reference just the first two chapters are useful in your case http://linuxappfinder.com/addrepo once added stable repos, proceed with apt-get update and then apt-get install forked-daapd now dependencies should be sol...
