On my router, I've set port 3689 to forward to the ip of the Bubba. I'm then using Banshee on Linux to connect to the DAAP share by entering the ip of my modem through Banshee's "Add remote daap client" menu item when I'm at the office. That works really, really well! On my Android phone I...

Found a cool hack to print files like pdf's, images and text files from a Android cellphone using Dropbox, and thought it might be possible to do that without passing the data through the Dropbox servers and just do on my local network instead. :) The initial guide is here http://www.labnol.org/soft...

I had some issues getting this running on versions of Sparkleshare prior to 0.2.2 (Hylke, the Sparkleshare maintainer told me they had fixed some authentication issues recently), but now everything works amazingly well!
