Re: Status of last good stable Bubba Server image?
Hello Tor,
please keep to your word and bring this last final update...
Another 2 months and nothing has happend. Thats not the way you should treat your initial customers!
I'm more and more disappointed.

Re: Status of last good stable Bubba Server image?
Regarding firmware on Bubba. The plan here is to try finalizing the Lenny image and repository. This is however the last upgrade, apart from possible security updates, that Excito will do for Bubba|Server. /Tor Hello Tor, how about the last upgrade... its now 2,5 month ago. Please - do it fo...

Re: Status of last good stable Bubba Server image?
@Tor, thanks for the update about the issue, looking forward to this final image. It should be upgraded at least this one time. A reinstall would be fine. I'd rather pay for a software upgrade than for a new box. I guess others would do so as well. @asparek, I didn't buy a laptop - I bought a server...

Re: Status of last good stable Bubba Server image?
Thanks for all the good hints... I wrote to Excito a couple of days ago and sent a reminder today. No answer so far. I still hope we will receive some official answer and a working "final" update for the box. It would leave me pretty disappointed otherwise. I was a big fan initially and ov...

Re: Status of last good stable Bubba Server image?
I definitely will - did you know that by 15th of february there are no security updates anymore for Debian Etch? I would like to know if anyone else of the Bubba owners is interested in an updated image. A lot of people read this thread, but only a few participated yet... If you are interested as we...

Re: Status of last good stable Bubba Server image?
Hello Excito, please give us an answer, (my) Bubba is not even 3 years old - I decided for Excito and to pay a little extra because I liked the product and the proposed quality. Now that Bubba Two is the current product, I think its a little too early to forget about your first Bubba. There should b...

Re: HDD spins down when connecting USB
I think thats the same here. It looks like sometimes when connecting / disconnecting the cable some power failure occurs. Same symptom.

Re: Hot to set eth0 to 10Mbits?
Just tried again with "Windows Network" - so Samba? - from my Ubuntu to Bubba.
Its now 3,2 MB/sec. ...
Strange, native linux protocols seem to be slower than a windows protocol between 2 linux boxes

Hot to set eth0 to 10Mbits?
Hi, while I read, that some user was able to improve network speed by actually lowering the speed of the ethernet adapter... How can I set the adapter to 10 Mbit instead of auto-sensing 100Mbit? Currently I can only achieve around 800KB per second across different protocols (tried sftp and smb)... I...
