Leaking battery in B3
Probably it’s a good idea to check the B3’s internal battery now and then. Today I found this. My B3 has been acting funny for some time now; dunno if the leak is to blame or something else. Mobo now drying after rescue action involving toothbrush and water.

Yes, I heartily agree with ahoff: Thanks for your work. I have yet to dare to step up from wheezy -- should occur any year now.

Sorry, have only got Nexa devices at home. But I really would like to hear about any progress that you’re making.

Re: Software Update and Download
Thank you, Gordon, for a lucid answer which did clear things up a bit. I'm aware that there are several solutions floating around on the forum, but despite all the helpfulness of the forum members, these are somewhat confusing for this perennial Linux neophyte.

Missing numbers, eh? As in:

Re: Missing config files
Just a quick follow-up: The reason why I looked for the config files was that they are mentioned in the wiki (»Rename the configuration file config_sample_linux.php to config.php« etc.) as well as in my own notes. I guess that this was valid for the previous version of HomeAutomation. Anyhow, now my...

Tack Daniel! I strongly suspected something like this. Now I can get on with the installation.

Missing config files
The WD Green that came with my B3 recently went tits-up, so have to reinstall HomeAutomation among other stuff on a new WD Red. However, I can’t for my life find any of the config files in the archive. Below is what gets dumped into the ha folder (= the contents of homeautomation_v3_0_1.zip freshly ...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
Update: I gave the Telldus people access to my B3, and they installed the Telldus software by specifying the version, thusly: apt-get install telldus-core=2.1.1-1 According to them, the Telldus packages are already included in Excito’s B3 archive, which is why the older version kept being pulled. In...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
Still working on this. The 2.0.4 installation is extremly stubborn to get rid of. And it just dawned on me that the Telldus forum is the appropriate place for questions about installing Telldus software … Thanks for your help so far, Daniel, and no doubt I'll be back soon.

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
Tack Daniel! I will try this later on, but right now my head is spinning from the various steps of the installation.
One more question for now, though: How is it that telldus-core 2.0.4 is installed by »apt-get install« and not 2.1.1? Any special reason to prefer the older version?

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
Hm,when I follow the steps for console based installation in the Telldus wiki, I end up with this: root@b3:~# apt-get install telldus-core Läser paketlistor... Färdig Bygger beroendeträd Läser tillståndsinformation... Färdig telldus-core är redan den senaste versionen. 0 att uppgradera, 0 att nyinst...

Klingan,
any luck yet with your installation? I got the same results as you (though with telldus-core 2.1.1).
