Re: Cannot login to Horde

considering that horde works via the IMAP server, and the IMAP server has its own logging (which can be put to very high detail), I'd suggest connection straight to the POP3 interface of the IMAP server (bypasssing horde) and see what happens. That works with my mail provider. But that I knew befor...

Re: Cannot login to Horde

Strange, we can't reproduce this here. Did you create the user through the web interface? What if you create a new user, does that work? I created all of the users via web interface and added a new one - called test. Same Error: no login possible due to false user name and/ or password ?? Maybe a b...

Re: problems with reinstall

Use another USB-Stick or the second port for USB on b3.
I tried four different sticks. Only one worked.
This is something that occurs very often.

Cannot login to Horde

I cannot login to Horde using the users I created for the b3.
I tried with user1 - password user1
No success
I tried admin - admin
No success
I tried email address and provider password
No success.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Printer set up missing

No need for a real printer.
The hplj1010 doesn't understand the common printer language either and was build for Microsoft OS. But if you attach it to the b3 it should work. You are addressing the printer through another computer and not directly.

Re: [SOLVED] HP Printer not visible from Windows machine

I disabled the firewall - there's no need for that in my network at home.
Port needed for printing should be 9100.

SOLVED Re: HP Printer not visible from Windows machine

Problem solved - it was a firewall issue.
The WindowsXP firewall shut the necessary port down and prevented the system from being able to send printing requests to the b3.
Had nothing to do with any configuration of the b3.

Thanks,

Re: HP Printer not visible from Windows machine

Okay, got the point. I attached some screenshots to clarify the situation. The system is WindowsXP (SP3). I tried to configure a new printer according to the printer setup dialogue but I failed. The printer is addressed (from the Ubuntu system) like the following: ipp://192.168.0.111:63/printers/hp-...

Re: HP Printer not visible from Windows machine

"unable to see" means: the Windows machine cannot connect to the printer. The printer is not shown as a network resource.

[SOLVED] HP Printer not visible from Windows machine

I attached an USB HP-LJ1010 printer to the b3. b3 and a Windows machine belong to the same WORKGROUP within the LAN. The Windows machine is not able to "see" the printer attached to the b3. Why is that so? What should I do to make printing possible from the Windows machine? My other Ubuntu...

Re: Problem with german Telekom MR303A IPTV/ Funkwerk r1200w

I turned off WLAN and hey presto! it works.
Without WLAN.
Turning on WLAN again causes the mediabox to freeze and by the way - WLAN is not working when the mediabox is on.
So I will use the b3 as I intended to: as a server without WLAN.

Thanks,
P
