Re: Can't access http://b3:9000

I reinstalled my B3 via USB stick (I had to try several different USB sticks and holding down the power button longer than described).
And now http://b3:9000 works perfectly.

Thanks

Re: Something wicked happened resolving 'b3.update.excito.or

My workstation can ping my B3 though. Entering the command 'host b3.update.excito.org' on my B3 returns 'b3...

Re: Something wicked happened resolving 'b3.update.excito.or

Yes, from my B3 I can: ping my DSL modem ping b3.update.excito.org ping my primary DNS and my gateway I missed to enter the command 'host b3.update.excito.org' -> I’ll do that tomorrow (NAS is in office) My B3 is attached (LAN cable) to my router which is also my DSL modem. My B3’s network profile i...

Re: Can't access http://b3:9000

Thank you.
I'll go for the upgrade.

However, talking about upgrade I have the other issue I posted with the subject 'Something wicked happened resolving 'b3.update.excito.org ..'.

Can you give me a tip for that one too?

Thanks

Re: Can't access http://b3:9000

Can anyone help, please?
Should I inactivate my McAfee firewall and redo the installation?

Thank you

Can't access http://b3:9000

This is my problem -> http://b3:9000 is not responding This is the situation: 1. 'squeezecenter -s' is running 2. No one is listening on port 9000 3.
