As I guess about anyone would, I agree too... What also would be nice is if one would be able to choose what filesystem bubba should use. I actually prefer ext2 since then I can use noflushd to spin down the harddrive. As it is now it's a bit tricky to change (or perhaps I did it the wrong way).

What about using an USB NIC? That would probably require some kernel module compiling at the moment, but should probably work OK (correct me if you know better, I'm just speculating). My $0.02 for the feature request list go to suggesting that excito should supply a set of kernel modules making live...
