Re: B3 SSD install

Thank you for the reply. I solved the problem yesterday by clearing the SSD drive with diskpart, not the usb stick. The SSD itself was used in bubba2 before, may be the install procedure is looking for somefile and if it finds, stops the procedure? Now the hard part begins, transfering all the confi...

B3 SSD install

Hello, I got my new B3 yesterday. I tried to install a new SSD disk without success. May be it isn't a good idea to do that after a hard day at work but I have some questions on this subject: On Bubba2, we need the WLAN port connected to the internet but that doesn't written on B3 manual, is there a...

php5-curl

Hello, Today I updated my system to 1.2.0. After this, one of my pages that uses curl starts to give this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_version() in /usr/share/web-admin/.... When I used this command line: php -i | grep curl it gives nothing. So my curl support in PHP lost. I u...

Re: Compatible SSD Drives?

Hello Johannes,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately there is a need for a converter. I bought a Fujitsu MHZ2400BT disk with a power consumption of 1.8W. The screw slots aren't matching with the board.

Re: Compatible SSD Drives?

I'm planning to use a SSD in my bubba2 system but have a problem. Currently my system has a 750GB 3.5" disk on it and a SSD will be much smaller. In time I loaded and customized a lot of thing on my bubba2. I don't want to lose or do them again. I'm not an expert on debian also. These customiza...

torrent library problem

I upgraded to bubba-etch-rc2 image recently and can't download from some torrent sites that I used with bubba-etch-rc1 (For example EZTV tv episode downloads doesn't work anymore). I searched the forums and found that it can be caused by a new torrent library usage. Is there a way to replace rc2's f...

admin password problem

I got my diskless bubba2 today. I installed a new disk and "b2-install-1.0-rc7.zip" image according to documents and every thing works OK until I opened the admin page. I tried to login first time with the default "admin/admin" user and password but everytime get an "Invalid...

Hi aliquis,

FTD is file transfer daemon, responsible for the downloads of bubba. Excito confirms that it is a little buggy and working on a new version already.
When I get a ftd problem, I always start /etc/init.d/ftd, don't know the other one.

Regards.

I found the cause of RX errors, if I dropped the line speed of bubba to 10Mbs, the errors occur but I also get a stable 1Mb/s transfer speed. If I set the line speed to autoneg on, bubba sets the speed to 100Mbs full duplex, no errors occur but I get unstable speeds of average 200Kb/s

Hello again, I couldn't test the system with my old switch because I can't find it around the garage. But now I have more info and before going and getting a new switch, I want to say this: When I changed the eth0 setting on bubba with 10Mb/s full duplex, I got a stable 1Mbs speed both with samba sh...
