Re: backup (duplicity) question regarding full/incremental

Hi Albert, We have "minimized" the alternatives to make the backup function easier to manage. Therefor you are not able to set your backup to run as you describe. But it is of course possible to edit the config file to make it run as you like. Do like this: 1. Create a backupjob: run every day with ...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0

The "house" parameter should be a letter when using the codeswitch protocol. Just changing the permissions of /dev/tellstick will give problems after next reboot. Better add an udev rule so the node is created with correct permissions. I have a /etc/udev/rules.d/99-tellstick.rules containing the fo...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0

I made a wiki guide for HomeAutomation and Tellstick from various threads here on the forum. You find it here: http://wiki.excito.org/wiki/index.php/H ... _Tellstick.

Please let me know if I missed or got anything wrong!

Re: B3 buzzer + change front LED color

Willem2, it's for B3 only. The 'bubbatwo' file structure is a legacy from older source code. Same with LED blink, not supported on B3.

B3 buzzer + change front LED color

If you think your B3 is to quiet you could always try using the internal buzzer.. Or why not change the front LED to red now when it's getting closer to Christmas.. :D

Take a look at http://wiki.excito.org/wiki/index.php/L ... _LED_color

Re: B2 rev RD serial access

Hi Henrik,
Here is the RT/TX connections for the B2 (all revisions). Use the guide from the thread you refer to.
The DSUB pads can't be used as the necessary components aren't mounted. Hope this will get you started!

Re: B3 User's Manual

Regarding other languages than English or German..
We have designed it so that it is possible to add more languages quite easy (if you know your Linux). Maybe we will see B3 users adding there own language files soon..? ;)

Re: Making the wiki more useful

A first step will be adding the manual to our web site as a downloadable pdf. A lot of people need a users manual covering the basics and daily use of B3. But as you say the wiki is a great place for improving the information. Stuff published on the wiki and B3 users miss in the users manual could o...
