Re: How to rotate pictures in album an B2?

Looks like the album doesn't use the EXIF rotation information of the images, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_image_file_format . Think you have to adjust them in the right position before you upload them, Don't know if the B3 which I own has the same album software (think so) and if i...

Re: Using Excito B3 as NVR for CCTV

Thanx Daniel,

Was looking in the right direction\directory but it's good to get the confirmation.
The ln command is a good one for the first use. So I know if the app is something for me.

I want to support rog on this one.
I think it is necessary to have a Howto\Wiki available for upgrading the apache on your own request.

Re: printserver and HP 2010

Thanks for the tips. Driver on the bubba seems to be unnecessary as long it is on the client machine but it's there. Plugging it directly in the machine works good. So the problem is on the combination. I suspect a windows printer with the linux B3 .... Samba is new to me so enough exploring to do. ...

printserver and HP 2010

Hi, New weekend project. Installing a HP Laserjet 2010 to the B3 so we can use it from all machines. First I read that it could work 'out of the box' since the new 2.3 release. It apppears on the admin web-interface so it's hooked on. But no printing. Apparantly not 'out of the box' for this model (...

Re: Automatically logged off when playing music

Stil excists in B3 v2.3 at my machine.

Is this a bug?
Thought it was an Apache property. (server session ... or something like that)
But ofcourse firefly could poke the server every minute to keep the session open.

Re: Be your own CA - question

Looked at the script but didn't quite understand the whole impact.
Given the fact that it's still online at this forum gives a clue about how trustfull it is.

But, given the lack of experience on my side, I choose the tutorial.

But thanks for pointing it out.

Re: Release notes for Excito B3 software version 2.3

removed openvpn with "apt-get purge openvpn" That didn't give the solution. Find out that all php pages don't work. Looks like the php-server doesn't work the right way. Even the simple phpinfo() command doesn't show anything. reinstallation of php (apt-get install php5) didn't give a solu...

Re: Release notes for Excito B3 software version 2.3

Hi, little adjustment to my previous post: Some of my pages on the webserver don't work anymore and some do ... Strange behaviour. Read something about installing a VPN-client ... remember that i played with something like that a few months ago. Don't know which one it was and how to remove it. Bas

Re: easyfind not working

Hi,

Had the same problem. For me it worked to just disable the service, waited for the confirmation at the bottom of the page, and then started it again.
After that it worked.
