Re: Connection 2 B3 servers

I think you can export the folder from the secondary B3 via NFS and mount it in the primary B3's filesystem. Then use Samba to share the contents of the location.

Re: Easyfind: what is the road map for this service?

Guys, I'm just about to install a B3 for a friend of mine and started testing Easyfind. I never needed it myself since I have static public IP and a domain name, so I just now found it doesn't work for me. I'm using standard system image. This is what I get: # /usr/lib/web-admin/easyfind.pl Updating...

Re: Need Help for CIFS Client

Dudester, the problem was that you haven't really said what you need. What you said was clear to you, but not to us. We've been asking about your usecase so we better understand the issue, not to spy on you. Here's the /etc/samba/smb.conf piece of config I use to share all of /home: [home] hide dotf...

Re: Need Help for CIFS Client

I'm not sure what you need - you want to be able to read /home/admin directory from a Windows machine?

IPSec client for B3

Turns out that if you buy a few B3 for friends, you'll get a lot of weird requests... So I have a B3 and I need to connect to it to an Netscreen/Juniper SSG140. Does anyone has any experience with setting up an IPSec VPN between Linux and a Netscreen? I searched through the forum and wiki here (and ...

Re: Ancient Firebird on B3

:(, but thanks a ton for your efforts to assist. I don't think I'll be able to learn enough to modify firebird source, so I've lost this battle :(

Re: Ancient Firebird on B3

Hi MouettE, How do you _know_ those things? O_O Did you just checked FB release date and used GCC from around that timeframe, or is there something else that told you this? Anyway, I feel I'm getting closer, first step worked fine (I think?): ../gcc-3.4.6/configure --prefix=/opt/gcc-3.4.6 --enable-s...

Re: Ancient Firebird on B3

Thank you for being the cool-headed here :D So the problem here is that 1.5.6 is only prepared for Windows, Linux 686, SPARC and Darwin, as far as I can tell. I was hoping that compilation might be as easy as just setting gcc to generate armv5tel code, but after a day's worth of reading today I doub...
