filemanager time out

I found that if I am not changing directories and only uploading files that the filemanager will timeout and I will have to re login. Otherwise I love this product. !

File permissions

In your post you said the software release would solve this problem. Actually it has made it worst for me because my modification no longer works since upload.cgi is a binary file now.

Any ideas how to upload a file to the web pages and have the permissions so that it is viewable ?

Power Supply

I bought a power supply a couple of years ago for a simular purpose.
It is made by LIND Electronics. Inc in Minneapolis MN USA. It puts
out 12 volts at 2.5 amps. One end plugs in a cigarette lighter.

How to limit access

I am trying to limit the outside access to my Bubba. It is behind a firewall that only forwards Port 80 to it. But the firewall will not limit who it forwards. For those in a hurry

I fixed the problem by editing the file /usr/share/web-admin/upload.cgi with the following line at line 178 with the "$mode" line.

close($tmp_fh);

$mode = 0666; chmod $mode, $tmp_filename;
$fsize =(-s $fh);

You posted that USB speed is 12 Mb/s that is true for USB 1.1 but USB is 480Mb/s per the last documentation that I read.
