I'm guessing that's on gigabit LAN? I'm only using 100Mb.

Re: Bug Report Thread for B3 "hugo" RC Repository

Regarding the photo album - the PHP errors are fixed with the recent update but the management tools still don't seem to be available. I've uploaded a video to demonstrate. I'm just trying to use my normal account, not admin. Regarding the wifi disable/enable mauling smb.conf and /etc/hosts - I put...

Re: Bug Report Thread for B3 "hugo" RC Repository

[Bug 3] Was just checking output of "dhclient" prior to setting DNS servers to be those of OpenDNS. dhclient gives this output (note the syntax errors reported in //etc/dhcp/dhclient-exit-hooks.d/samba): Easyfind: nothing todo. Enter Fallback (PREINIT) Shutting down dnsmasq Stopping DNS f...

Re: Bug Report Thread for B3 "hugo" RC Repository

[Bug 5] Samba daemon will not start if the wifi is enabled. However, starting samba first then enabling the wifi works fine. The only thing I can see in the syslog is this: Jul 9 13:16:53 serverb3 smbd[26120]: [2011/07/09 13:16:53.474838, 0] param/loadparm.c:7588(lp_do_parameter) Jul 9 13:16:53 ser...

Re: Bug Report Thread for B3 "hugo" RC Repository

[Bug 4] When rebooting the box Dovecot is failing to start. When starting manually I get this message: Starting IMAP/POP3 mail server: dovecotLast died with error (see error log for more information): Time just moved backwards by 15 seconds. This might cause a lot of problems, so I'll just kill mys...

Re: Bug Report Thread for B3 "hugo" RC Repository

Spoke too soon! [Bug 7] The photo album functionality appears to be, not to be too blunt, fucked. I can create an album from the file manager and when I go to the photo albums I can't see the new album as they are private by default. All as expected so far. However, even though I'm logged in it say...

Re: B3 Release candidate

The version it installed is 6.3.18-2. According to the logs in /etc/apt my previous version was 6.3.17-4. /Daniel 6.3.18-2 is the version in upstream_squeeze_forvincent, upstream_squeeze_forhugo has 6.3.17-4 Well, then something is very weird with your repositories. I have never installed fetchmail...

Re: B3 Release candidate

I encountered a possibly similar problem last night. I was trying to install the package php5-intl but aptitude was complaining that it was dependent on php5-common version 5.2.1-1ex1 but I had version 5.3.3-7-squeeze3 installed. I discovered that it was trying to install php5-intl version 5.3.2-1e...

Re: B3 Release candidate

Nope. This was using hugo, according to the URLs in the first post of this thread. /Daniel That's strange, Could you post which version of fetchmail it tried to install, and if possible, also the version you had before? The version it installed is 6.3.18-2. According to the logs in /etc/apt my prev...

Re: B3 Release candidate

Ok. I've done the upgrade now. Everything worked except one little glitch. Fetchmail refused to upgrade because I had no /etc/fetchmailrc (never used fetchmail). Entire update stopped because of that. A simple "touch /etc/fetchmail" made it work. /Daniel That's a known issue, and I decide...

Re: B3 Release candidate

@ Daniel, no probs so far except the one bug reported in the other thread What is your version of bubba-backend ("dpkg -l|grep bubba-backend") after upgrading? I guess the problem here is that it doesn't get upgraded. Even after running the hotfix Johannes posted, an apt-get dist-upgrade ...

Re: Minimal debian installation image for B3

Thank you Carl! Would you please explain what the bubba-status does, though? The LED is rather nice to have after all. bubba-status only contains two init scripts, one which is obsolete due to led not blinking on the B3. you don't need it to change the color of the led, as you can work against the ...

Re: Minimal debian installation image for B3

The only packages that are needed for a minimal installation is the bubba-kernel, bubba-modules, and bubba-buttond packages. The buttond package can be ignored if you don't need/want to have hardware button functionality. The package cdebootstrap-excito is only used internally when building new imag...
