i think the posibillity to attach files is to small. 250kb is a bit low.. Why not 10mb or 50 mb insted?

Is it now safe to make an upgrade of my Bubba2 or will I loose my Raid configuration?

In manual it says that you have to open up port80 and redirect that port to bubba IF you ar behind a router.
I suppose you allready have done this? if not try that one ,-)
