Network stopped working on B2
Hmmm. I cleaned out my server shelf today. Had everything disconnected. Reconnected everything, and now my Bubba will have nothing to do with the network. Boots up just fine (as far as I can see from the one blinking eye). But on the back, the network port blinks with green light only, only one of t...

Re: Virtual hosts redirect to /admin
OK. Did that. Now everything is truly strange, probably not because this last change. But: I have several domains pointing to my IP. The only one that I want to go somewhere else than the default is: harmonyhill.se That's the one that keeps redirecting. smiffel.se for example shows only the content ...

Re: Virtual hosts redirect to /admin
I agree! And it's obvious. The vhost does not seem to work. It's http and name-based. Here's what it looks like. Hopefully I missed something obvious. <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName harmonyhill.se ServerAdmin pelle@harmonyhill.se ServerAlias www.harmonyhill.se DocumentRoot /home/web/harmonyhill.se Er...

Re: Virtual hosts redirect to /admin
I don't have the same webroot.
In the /home/web folder I have a subfolder called harmonyhill. This should be the root of my site, which the vhost should send me to.
But however I try I end up getting to the index.html in /home/web.
As if there is something overriding my vhost setting.

Virtual hosts redirect to /admin
I have searched and found the question in different places, but no solution. For me, at least. I have added a virtual host and enabled it. I have edited out the meta tag in the index.html file in /home/web. But still i get redirected to the bubba admin page when I try to reach my virtual host. Any i...

Re: My B2 has been hacked! Twice?
The y2kupdate would be explained by this. And that does not worry me that much. The e-mail spam seems like a more severe break-in. Could that too be made from the temporarily 777-ed upload folder? Seems to me that a hacker would need to go deeper to use my server to send e-mails... I don't know. /pe...

My B2 has been hacked! Twice?
Hi! I got home yesterday to find my internet connection down. I called my ISP who told me that it had been closed by them since they had been getting a LOT of e-mail spam reports on my IP address the last two weeks or so. These reports started coming on February 14th. That day I added a new domain d...

Re: Printer on mac
OK. I'm moving. Not sure if it's forward, though. I did the following: apt-get install hplip Now when I go to http://mybubba:631/admin/ I get this: New Printers Found: HP Photosmart 3200 series (HP Photosmart 3200 series USB #1) HP Photosmart 3200 series (HP Photosmart 3200 series USB MY5AS8416B045K...

Re: Printer on mac
This project: http://hplipopensource.com/.
They seem to have support for my printer. But I cannot find a pure driver.
Should I find one... Where do I put it?

Re: Printer on mac
I actually added it through the "normal" bubba web admin interface.
But you are probably right. I need to find drivers...

Re: Printer on mac
Hi! I can reach the page. What I did now was that I deleted the printer and added it again. Then I went to the CUPS admin pages. It showed up like it should. I tried "Print test page" and it started processing. But nothing happens in the printer. And then after a while it says: "Print...

Re: Printer on mac
Thanks for your answer, Tor! I could reach that page, and also found the jobs I had sent to the printer. One was pending, one was processing. It had obviously been processing for quite some time. My printer is a HP Photosmart 3210. So: My mac sends the job to my bubba2, but something prevents the bu...

Re: Printer on mac

Trying right now, and it doesn't seem to be any communication between the "print command on the computer" and my bubba2.
