No, I didn't dare. There are too many Excito specific packets installed which are supposed to generate trouble if not removed prior to the upgrade. This includes a "bubba-kernel v2.6.39.

Thanks lelle, it appears that the database album is what ist really needed. ' bubbaalbum ' in my installation/upgrade is probably the album created of a few 10 slides in my "pictures folder" which Excito had installed in my B3 when it was shipped - with firmware version 2.4 at that time.
