Re: Webserver on LAN
I think what he means is that the address http://csanyi-pal.info should point to the bubba webserver, while the subdomain http://edu.csanyi-pal.info should point to a different machine on the LAN. Since the only public IP he has listens on port 80 on bubba, one would think that some other fiddling m...

Re: Can't Access Bubba
Glad you got it working! I think the problem in your case, as you mentioned yourself, is that you plugged the Bubba into the LAN port on your network (i.e into the ADSL router), and then enabled the setting "Router + Firewall + Server". This mode should only be used if the Bubba server its...

Re: Can't Access Bubba
I've just had a thought... by switching it to manual settings, I presume that it would start using the ip address that it had specified in the manual settings. Now this I seem to remember was a 192.168.... address, and my network is a 10.10.1.* range... hmmm... perhaps this could be why it's not sh...

Re: Squeezecenter 7.5 problems after update
I have the exact same problem. It seems to be related to a bug in the tagging mechanism for certain filenames according to the logs. The same filenames that worked in the previous version. This is an extract of my scanner.log [10-04-24 07:58:24.5411] Slim::Utils::Scanner::scanDirectory (333) Scannin...

Enable sorting on file manager columns
Hi,
I think it would be great if it was possible to sort the columns in the file manager (date, size and name). Is that planned for a future release?

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
Hi again and thanks for your help.
Those commands seems to work as they should, though it took quite a long time to upload the 5mb file (transfer speed 10kb/s), maybe thats the reason for the timeout?
I will try the same backup job using another ftp target and check the logs accordingly.

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
Yeah, sorry about the blurry picture, but the date is actually correct. I tried the manual execution and here is the output log: NOTICE 1 . NcFTP version is 3.2.2 NOTICE 1 . Reading globbing filelist /home/admin/.backup/test/excludeglob.list NOTICE 1 . Reading globbing filelist /home/admin/.backup/t...

Write errors when backup to FTP target
Hi, I'm trying to use the new backup feature to store the results on a remote FTP server, but I can see in the restore section that it couldn't write the files to the target. I've tried 2 different ftp-servers as targets with the same result. It seems some files has been written so permissions seems...

Re: Move default bubba2-site listening name?
Hi and thanks for your reply. Your solution would probably work but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I would like to run all my web sites on port 80 so that clients out there don't have to know what port to surf to, and instead use subdomains to have Apache transfer them to the corresponding s...

Move default bubba2-site listening name?
Hi, I have a domain that points to my bubba2, so if I surf to http://www.mydomain.com or simply http://mydomain.com I reach the bubba default web site. I would like to move this default web so that it answers only on http://bubba.mydomain.com instead. I have modified the "bubba" site in si...

Use OpenVPN to connect to ivacy.com - troubles
Hi, I'm trying to use openvpn to connect to an online vpn service called ivacy.com, but having some troubles.
