Make Strongswan start on a b3
Hi I'm really disappointed to see that excito still not have included 2 small modules in your kernel-module packages. Every time there is a new kernel i have to grab the source and compile the modules. What a waste. please take a look : http://wiki.excito.org/wiki/index.php/Make_Strongswan_start_on_...

Re: kernel with ipsec support
to use the hardware acceleration, you should use aes128 as encryption. To set encryption propossals for phase1/2 you can use : ike=aes128-sha1-modp1024 esp=aes128-sha1-modp1024 which roughly means aes128 for encryption, sha1 for authentication and dielfe hieman2 for perfect forward secracy. What is ...

Re: kernel with ipsec support
Hi kurt2000 and others, Surely we read the forum, unfortunately not as frequently as we would like though. Kurt, since you requested a wiki-account i assume you are going to write a Howto. Thats super. And there is, probably nothing stopping us for including this in a future kernel upgrade. /Tor Ni...

Re: kernel with ipsec support
Hi I switched to another vpn gateway than the usg300. The other gateway is a ubuntu virtual machine running on a fast esx, and i know it is capable of delivering 80mbit ipsec throughput. With the new gateway i was able to pull 40 mbit on iperf with tcp windows size at 16kb. So i guess that it's the ...
