Hi,
I try to use the torrent on this page: http://www.tuxdistro.com/torrents-details.php?id=398
But whenever I added the torrent file to my torrent directory, bubba reacts like frozen, and download won't start - even with that many sources...
Anything I missed?

Hi, just want to confirm, that its working on bubba. Postfix-TLS could be installed from the Debian sources, however you also need to install: apt-get install libsasl2-modules After all the changes to main.cf and the creation of /etc/postfix/saslpw you need to: 1.) postmap saslpw 2.) /etc/init.d/pos...

Hi, Why run ntp as cron when the ntpd is perfectly capable of doing this for you in a much smarter fashion? ... could you please elaborate a bit more about it? Why is it smarter? :-) Thanks dsp76 Okay - explanation to myself: ntpd is a daemon constantly running, thus its not required to repeatedly i...

Character encodings - codepages - Debian Etch
Hi, as we know, there is no perfect way yet to deal with local characters with the current debian release on bubba, if it will be acccess with different tools (ssh, smb, browser) and different OS. Now that I read, we *might* be close to a debian etch release. where we could switch fully to UTF I hav...

Problems with IMAP server when downloading attached files
Hi,
I got send an email with a 9MB attachement. However I'm not able to save to local neither by the browser interface (it only saves 1,5 Mb) nor by the IMAP client (Thunderbird)...
Whats the problem here? Via SSH I can see the message file in my mail directory is indeed around 9MB.
regards

what service tries to send email to root@bubba.excito.com?
Hi,
my mail.logs shows that my bubba tries to send email to root@bubba.excito.com regularly. Did I forget some adjustment, when I set up my bubba? Any ideas what could send this email?
regards

IMAP performance using external router ip instead of bubbas
Hi, when I try to save an attachment from a message from my IMAP client to my local disk, the data transfer rate is very slow when I use the dyndns service, that points to my external router IP (it saves me from changing the client config each time I'm switching from home to abroad). Then Rates vary...
