Re: How to configure services?
When logged in to the GUI component, if you click on the help link, it will bring up the Bubba Manual, which includes a section of Squeezecenter

Re: USB Repair disk
Its not a Windows disk.
Use the ISO fiel to basically burn an image to the disk. Windows will not be able to read the contents, but it should be able to boot your Bubba.
I've been through the process and it works fine.

Re: What will WLAN add-on look like?
Hi, It's all gone very quiet because we are busy testing, both the WiFi kit and the software version 1.3 that it needs :) When we first started the Beta test, there were lots of stability issues with the drivers, encryption etc. The beta testers and Excito have been diligently working through each i...

The WiFi Beta testers are beta testing 1.3 at the same time, so not too long

Re: Recovering RAID
I use RSync to do my backup as the built in client is not ready for the big time yet. Backing up over 700GB of data, takes a good few hours the first time, but the daily incrementals take a couple of minutes. Bubba 2 is definitely still under development. A few of us are testing the new stuff along ...

Re: Exclude IP adress from DHCP server
Hi, Several ways to do it. Simplest is to go to the Network tab > LAN and change the IP range of the DHCP leases, then make sure your WiFi AP has one outside that range. Other way would be to tell it to always issue the same IP to the WiFi but that takes a little more fiddling andI don't think it ca...

Re: What will WLAN add-on look like?
It is unlikely that we will see upgrades on already built units as these are fully integrated systems, soldered to a motherboard. You would need to replace the whole board. Wifi is in Beta and looking good so far, with a few minor tweaks and niggles, which are being worked on by Excito. I won't give...

Re: "Disk full" - but it's not
check your /tmp directory isn't full
df -k will tell you. It sounds like the temporary directory it uses to copy files is full, not the destination folder

Re: Squeezecenter problems
Looks like this is still a problem. System appears to be constantly rescanning for changes in my music directory, so constantly using 100% CPU.
Time to remove squeezecenter again

Re: Squeezecenter problems
Even though it was turned off everywhere i could find, I kept seeing squeezecenter running every morning, chewing up 100% of my CPU, so I removed and purged all configs, databases etc as I don't use it.
Are the configs fixed now, so that I can risk re-installing it?
