I installed rsync as described above and synced my Home dir on my mac with the Home dir on Bubba like this: rsync -vax /users/myusername/Documents/ myusername@bubba.local:/home/myusername/ Worked like a charm. You can do this for any two dirs, but do remember to place the "/" at the end...
