Re: Homeautomation 1.0

Hej Daniel ! ...

Re: Bubba|Two Software update 1.2.0

I have tried to start some minor investigation on what could be the problem. The fist issue that was causing problems is the fact that the apache logs were extremely big and thus causing the system to malfunction since there was no disc space left. Re: Bubba|Two Software update 1.2.0

The file server.log (being approximately 6 MB in size) has it latest entry from 6 days ago and that looks from my point of view fairly harmless. The file scanner.log (being approximately 600 KB) has it latest entry (an exception) from the 26th of July. (See below) [09-07-26 15:28:03.1448] Slim::Sche...

Re: Bubba|Two Software update 1.2.0

Hi Tor, Possibly, but does it make sense that more than 24 hrs later, it is still using a lot of CPU load ? I have taken a number of snap shots for the last hour, and the CPU load seems consistently high. 112 27113 87.6 3.9 19004 10116 ? R 12:34 0:04 \_ /usr/bin/perl -w /usr/sbin/squeezecenter-serve...

Re: Bubba|Two Software update 1.2.0

Hi, When I upgraded to version 1.2.0 it seems as if the squeezecenter process takes a lot of CPU time (above 90% most of the time). This does not seem normal, or ??? Re: DLNA to Samsung HDTV

kfudd,

That sounds very neat. I'd really like to see how that is done, but keep your instructions on a basic level since I'm not fully fluent in Linux.
(Darn, but it sounds as if I bought a Popcorn Hour in vain, but hey that is life)

Re: DLNA to Samsung HDTV

Hi,

I tried for a little while but when I realized that Samsung won't play streamed HD media I bought a Popcorn Hour instead. It works well, but I had to switch off Media Tomb since it could upset the Popcorn.

Re: Bubba Two / Popcorn hour

Hello Josh, I have a B2 and a Popcorn Hour A-110 and it works just fine streaming 1080p over my wired network! *** I connect my A-110 using a samba share, and not the uPnp service. BR Magnus Lund *** I have restarted the combo twice in total watching approximately 20 movies. Who's to blame ? The fir...

I went to the network share menu in the A-110 and entered the URL such as

Code: Select all

smb://bubba/storage

along with a user and password.

I then disabled the upnp server service in my B2 admin GUI so that no one would try to access the upnp server.

Hello,

I have a B2 and a Popcorn Hour A110 and I can easily stream all file formats (including mkv files) using my wired network. I only use a SMB connection, because the A-110 does not seem to behave properly with the upnp connection.

Whilbone,

That is a really good idea. I presume that some kind of restart or reboot is required to apply this ? Just saving the file does not seem to be enough to put things into action.
And also, does it matter if the MAC address is denoted in hex or dec ?
