I don't have a Bubba yet. Which torrent client is used in Bubba? I suspect that the client doesn't have those features you ask for. So then you have to make your requests to the developers of the client and not here.

It may be that nfs isn't enabled by default in the Debian kernel package. I don't remember. But it's easy to build and install kernel if you do it "the Debian way" :wink:

Omaura TFHDD was such a product. It connected to host machine with one e-sata cable and all 5 disks were seen through port multiplying. Unfortunately Omaura has recently ceased operation. Yes. Spinning down usb disk can be hard. But there are disks that can be configured to spin down after f.ex. 15 minutes idleness. F.ex. Maxtor OneTouch 4 disks.
