UTF-8 with Putty works fine as well here in Ã…kersberga.
Also, if you only work on Windows it's worth getting Kitty whic is a more updated Putty:

Default name problems
It would be nice if the Bubba|two didn't use the name "BUBBA". I am sure there are more people than myself who spent a little extra time setting things right since the old version of bubba uses the default hostname of "bubba" and the bubba|two also uses this name. My suggestion i...
Great!
I got my Bubba|Two today
It's up and running and I'm copying data to it. Nice with the 1GBits port!
And the packaging is so sweet!
Thanks to the Excito team for improving the original Bubba!

DLNA servers?
I have a PS3 and I have been using the MediaTomb to serve files from the BUBA to the PS3. This works, but not very well. I far to often get problems with mediatypes not working on the PS3 etc. So what I was wondering is if anoyone have tested Fuppes on the BUBBA? http://fuppes.ulrich-voelkel.de/ I d...

Getting video to the PS3
I've been trying like mad to get videos to show up on the PS3 from my BUBBA. So far I havenät been able to, sad to say. I can get MediaTomb to show the media on the PS3 but no matter which media type I use the PS3 simply says "Unsupported format" och if it tries to play the file it stops a...

Solar powered?
I really, really like my bubba. And today I read this piece on the swedish magazine IDG's webpage: http://www.idg.se/2.1085/1.133819 Since the BUBBA only consumes very little power one way to reach a larger audience may be to look into a solar-powred solution? If BUBBA would be positioned as an envi...

Example init.d script
First off, thanks for a great HOWTO! As I don't use the xinetd I needed an init script for the Subversion deamon, this is how I did it: I created a file in the init.d directory that launches subversion (you can use any name you like but I think the name "subversion" fits well) : sudo touch...

Thanks for the update!
I see your point and think it is a valid one. And I am of-course in favour of more focus on updates to my bubba than spending time on the wiki... But I strongly feel there is a need to shape-up the documentation. The bubba is such a great piece that i feels stupid not to have a well organised "...

I frequently come back to this site to find how-to and specific instructions. There are plenty of useful tips, hints and practical hands-ons buried in the forum. But sometimes there are small omissions or changes to the instructions and the instructions aren't always easy to find So I would like to ...
