Re: Wordpress is text only on Windows 7 OS notebook
View the source of the page and check the path to a image (or use Firefox's page info). Probably Windows doesn't know the right address.

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
You might want to try enabling the "register globals" setting in php.ini and see if that fixes your issue. For any sane php application that doesn't make any difference. Now that depends on your definition of "sane", doesn't it? I hope my definition of sane is sane :) Anyway reg...

Does this say anything? [error] [client 192.168.xxxxx] PHP Warning: Unknown: POST Content-Length of 138 bytes exceeds the limit of 2 bytes in Unknown on line 0, referer: http://b3.local/ What is post_max_size in php ini on your B3? Maybe there's a missing "M" in it? Also you can get every...

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
It seems to be more of a WP problem than a B3 problem.toukie wrote:WP would not be running if it didn't. The problem is that WP is up and running but I can't log in to WP admin interface and there is no login for commenting.
Also WP can work with only read only permissions in theory at least.

Re: invalid passwords
I'm not annoyed at all. These experiments are done with own risk! B3 is a great tool for learning! The wiki maybe could tell that databases are not included in user data so that one would be careful to have back-ups of them before re-installing. To keep your database data safe, you should make a ba...

What do you mean by "login"? login to where? Admin interface of wordpress?toukie wrote:There is simply no login even when I try to install something completely new. No login takes bite. It tries half a second but doesn't get in.
Does the webserver have permissions to access the WP DB?

Unless the faster CPU is also more energy efficient, by design or manufacturing process.Gordon wrote:I´d say that faster CPU and less power consumption are straight opposites.
But I agree, B4 should naturally keep all the good things B3 already has. I really don't want any fans on the housing for example.

Re: B4 wishlist
Difficult choice, but I think faster CPU and more memory would allow B4 to be a real server replacement when running web applications, web server, PHP etc.

Re: Release notes for Excito Bubba 3 software version 2.5
I already tried... both the admin and root credentials. (with pw: excito and my changed root pw). Update: I re-set my root password and now I get "test page printed, job id laser-2" - but no paper out of the printer, no lights flashing or anything else for that matter. So it seems I reall...

Re: Release notes for Excito Bubba 3 software version 2.5
B3 admin credentials do not work. The credentials required are the admin login and password. I already tried... both the admin and root credentials. (with pw: excito and my changed root pw). But then, in desperation of making it work I may have broken something - so waiting for exact instructions h...
