Hi What I meant was if there is a possibility to ad clonezilla to the rescue image? or if there are any other way one could backup the entire unmounted disc to a backup image or file. That would keep filesystem rights and such, for backup. And that wouldnt be to slow, clonezilla is fast when making ...

Great, Is the hd mounted with this rescue firmware? Would it be possible to add clonezilla server to this image?, so that one mounts a sshfs onto a remote server and copy an image of the bubba hd onto the foreign server. Clonezilla server works locally on bubba and compresses before sending over ssh...

Hi,

What speed increasements would one see with the extra 64 RAM on bubba?

What would happen to the warranty on the bubba after one send it in, will it be extended after you have soldered on a RAM chip on it?.

Hi, tor

Could you make a small howto on installing and handling(OU, USERS, etc) a LDAP server on bubba? :)

I know there is a great LDAP-management tool, like phpLDAPadmin (http://phpldapadmin.sourceforge.net/).

Cheers

Hi,

Ok, I am not really sure what you mean. Could you please make some short demonstrations of your 2 choices.

But I guess on the first choice you mean:

firewall-flush.sh:
#!/bin/bash
/sbin/iptables -A INPUT ACCEPT
/sbin/iptables -F

Hi, The reason is that if you run a server, sometimes you dont want it to automatically register its services to other services. And if it is possible to manually shut it down or activate when you want to, you could spare some little ram. :D For those of us who try to cram every ounce of ram out of ...

Iptables

Hi,

I am having some problem with flushing the rules that I set with iptables.

I can set rules that all work, but when i do /sbin/iptables -F or /sbin/iptables -F chain, i lose contact with the server. What am I doing wrong?

web-admin/services/avahi-daemon

Hi,

On the web-admin, services page, would it not be possible to add the avahi-daemon service remark box.
So it would be possible to stop/start the avahi-daemon service, like the other services, eg FTP and so on.
