I am having the same problem for the Upnp service (Mediatomb). Doesn't start anymore after reboot even though the service is checked in the Web GUI. It still runs if I start it manually from the console.

Ha! I knew it couldn't have been so complicated to connect an e-sata disk. The cable was indeed the problem. Shaved a little of the plastic from the butt of the connector and the Bubba 2 now detects the disk, even in the GUI. I was actually considering to buy a different cable to try, but at 15 euro...
