By the way, what is the maximum DL-speed if I only use it for BT? Have a 24MBit line, and would like to use it to it's capacity! Hi Calder, I also have a 24Mbit line, and I get nearly the same speed on a single BT download as I get on my PC. If you have several busy BT downloads the speed will decr...
Hi kitabu, I was also unsuccessful at getting VLC to work as a upnp client, but I have used djmount http://djmount.sourceforge.net/ and it works fine on Ubuntu. Samba comes installed and configured out of the box.
You should be able to map the default shared directories on the Bubba from windows without having to do any configuration on Bubba.

I lived in three different flats in the UK for 8 years, All of them had fitted carpets even in the bathrooms. In one place my flatmate used to dye his hair, but was used to Swedish standards, s...
Hi all, As SMB is quite slow and NFS works a treat between my linux boxes I tried to install Microsoft's Services For Unix (SFU) 3.5 on my XP laptop today. It is supposed to have support for NFS, and I thought it might be faster, and possibly a solution for wellanna. It requires some mappings for au...
Hi Albert, It is actually the host name of your POP or IMAP server. Probably something like pop3.yourisp.com. or mail.yourisp.com. It is the email server where fetchmail collects the email you want fetched from the remote email server. You might have to restart fetchmail in order to get the setting ...
