Thanks to everyone for your suggestions, I really appreciate your support! From your latest comments I gather that bjorn's suggestion should actually work, right? tor, could you upload that install image to somewhere on your webserver so I can download it and modify it according to bjorn's advice? rtorrent installation gone bad - weird issues
Hi, I wanted to install rtorrent so I could add and control my torrent downloads via ssh and on my mobile phone. To that end I added the testing and unstable repositories to my sources.list, hit apt-get update and afterwards apt-get install rtorrent. And that's where all the trouble started. I was a...

how much power does the USB port supply?
Hey, I was just wondering whether the Bubba's USB port would provide enough power to re-charge my iPod? That would certainly come in handy as the Bubba is always running to I could re-charge the iPod overnight. Unfortunately I don't have the iPod around at the moment, otherwise I'd just give it a sh...

Odd thing indeed, this just happened to me 5 minutes ago.... I shut down the Bubba because I needed to install a longer network cable. Anyway, after the reboot I re-added a torrent that had been running and now the whole interface froze. I couldn't even get to the web-interface from another computer...

controlling my Bubba via a mobile phone
Now this might not really be all that useful... Anyway, I discovered MidpSSH which is an SSH client for Java-enabled mobile phones. I promptly downloaded and installed it on my aging Siemens C75. After setting up the port-forwarding in the firewall of our router I was able to connect to my Bu...

web-interface issue with Firefox
Earlier today I noticed an odd error when I was accessing my Bubba via the web-interface. As you can see from the screenshots below I was downloading several files at once. But somehow Firefox didn't rescale the tables properly to allow for all the files to be displayed. Additionally there was no sc...
