WOL Utility & Disk SMART Status/Info on Web Interface

Hi Guys Just thought these would be a nice wee features that I would use quite a bit. Wake On LAN utility on the web interface. With the ability to store MAC addresses (so i wouldn't have to type them in). Also It would be quite nice to see the hdd SMART info on the web interface aswell. Regards Gary

Just a bit curious to what the following jumpers and stuff are:

Hard drive didn’t power down on shutdown.

Hi all, When I shut down my Bubba through the web interface last night, the hard disk drive didn’t power down. You could still hear it spinning., but all the LED’s were off. This is the second time this has happened. Normally when I press the power button it powers up as usual. But last night I just...

Just a quick question.
Providing you done the serial hack to you bubba using a TLL to RS232 converter etc etc, would it be easier to install a serial LCD display rather than a USB display, i.e. no need for usb driver?

no worries

ooh those look pretty cool.

although the likes of the LK204-24-USB from Matrix Orbital would probably suit me fine for displaying basic system stats.

has anyone got an english transalation of the guide in the 'Elektronik i Norden' magazine?

Sounds like ftd has crashed. ssh in, su root and do the following Hi TheEagleCD, You don't have to reboot ! First check if ftd is still running : ps aux | grep ftd If it's indeed running, kill it : killall ftd At this point the interface should work again. Restart ftd : /etc/init.d/ftd start Enjoy !

What user name are you trying to login externally with? The 'admin' one, or one you've created?

after a bit more reading up on this it appears that this might be an issue with windows itself, getting its knickers in a twist.

Multiple [Samba] connections by same user

I'm getting grief when trying to connect to bubba using my windows machines. I want to map a drive for a particular user on each PC. But I keep getting Multiple connections by the same user denied type error messages. Is it possible increase the number of times a user can be logged into a samba share.

Re: SPGM / Gallery Mage

Is there a similar GalleryMage type tool that can be installed on bubba itself that can be scheduled to run every 12 hours or whatever to create thumbnails.
I would like gallery creations automated.
