Re: Easyfind or not easyfind?
Easyfind works just fine, I never had a problem with it.

Re: Easyfind or not easyfind?
With Easyfind you get started right "out of the box", it is definitely a good selling argument! B3 works nicely as an introduction to things for a non-geek person. The more advanced users can probably turn off features they don't need. Why to deny them for others? Things like Easyfind broa...

Re: How to skip logging of one's own IP to apache2/access.lo
THNX nobody!
The alternative number 1 works fine when written as:
cat /var/log/apache2/access.log | grep -v xyz.xyz.xyz.xyz One's own IP is omitted, that's neat.
The other alternative flies far beyond my digital horizon.

Re: How to skip logging of one's own IP to apache2/access.lo
Hi Binkem, You are probably right about posting but this thing falls somewhere between the categories. Support is more when things don't work, this was like a feature request. Closest I came was this: http://www.electrictoolbox.com/apache-stop-logging-internal-dummy-connection/ but I didn't find the...

How to skip logging of one's own IP to apache2/access.log?
It's useless to have one's own IP to be shown in the /var/log/apache2/access.log. How can it be skipped? The instructions I found didn't work out, "CustomLog" was not allowed etc. I guess that it can be done, but how? It would give a much neater logfile.

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
Thanks a lot Nrde! You solved the problem! I can log into WP now! The problem was that I followed bad advice at another forum (ownCloud). Somebody told to augment the max_whatever_size by writing 2GB into the php ini. Now I know that it is written as 2048M and nothing else. Well, there is advice and...

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
Does this say anything? [error] [client 192.168.xxxxx] PHP Warning: Unknown: POST Content-Length of 138 bytes exceeds the limit of 2 bytes in Unknown on line 0, referer: http://b3.local/ In the WP login: POST wp-login.php gets 200 OK to my EasyFind domain. Wp-admin.css, and colors-fresh.css both get...

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
I changed line number 691 in php.ini from Off to On and restarted Apache2, but it didn't help.
Next I'll check the permissions once more.

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
I repeat what I wrote above: "I mean admin interface of WordPress and login to ownCloud, same problem there so it is not a WP problem. I put in the username and password and press enter, the password and username are gone instantly but there is no login to the page." This means that I get ...

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
Well, it wasn't the database. What is in MySQL database corresponds exactly with what I have in WordPress config. WP would not be running if it didn't. The problem is that WP is up and running but I can't log in to WP admin interface and there is no login for commenting. It is not a problem with WP,...

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
1) I mean admin interface of WordPress and login to ownCloud, same problem there so it is not a WP problem. I put in the username and password and press enter, the password and username are gone instantly but there is no login to the page. All other logins are OK, admin to B3, ssh etc. I think that ...

Re: Re-installing the system partition.
1) I checked the database with mysqlcheck and everything is OK there. Something in B3 does that I can't log in to my WordPress or to Owncloud. The pages are there, but login is gone. What can it be? Something got broken with the EasyFind location service when I re-installed, or what else could it be...

Re-installing the system partition.
Reinstalling the system partition isn't that simple solution at all. One thing was that the databases are gone. They can be reconstructed from back-ups. An other thing that I found out now is that I can't log in to WordPress and OwnCloud. Files relative to password management must have been on the s...
