Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0

I followed the instructions from PA.
Most seems fine now, except that I need to restart SAMBA manually after every reboot.
Looking forward to receiving a solution for this as well.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0

As stated earlier in this thread, my update failed. In contrast with some of you guys my Samba is working fine after the reboot. The only problems on my side seem that the wrong version number is shown in the web-ui and that the software upgrade mechanism doesn't work anymore. When Excito would be i...

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0

Via admin web-ui the update reached 99.64% then gave this message: "System integrity failure" The update process then automatically restarted from scratch but remained at 0%. After 15 minutes I gave up and performed a reboot and logged in as admin again. The home page shows: Version 1.2.4 ...

PHP error still not fixed with version 1.2.1?

Dear Excito,
The torrent download PHP error occurred once again after the update to 1.2.1 and a bubba reboot
(during the update NO downloads were active).
I know how to repair it again and again, but when can we expect a real fix from Excito?
I expected it in 1.2.1 to be honest...

Re: Connecting to Tracker ... torrents .

I experience the same as Rene (reasonable chance of PHP error on 100% cancel, introduced with 1.2.0) and Strider (poor torrent download performance, with any Bubba2 SW version so far).

Re: A PHP error was encountered

Hi HeSitate,

Most probably it is possible, but I'm not that into Linux...
The most essential part of the trick is that the 'downloads' folders get cleaned up completely. The downloader service should be inactive during the cleaning.

Re: A PHP error was encountered

Hi HeSitated,

Maybe you had a torrent download active while updating?
Anyhow, the issue and a solution have been discussed in the forum before.

Re: WARNING: [Old] WD Green Power drives may kill themselves !!

Hi Puma, The problem you encounter was identified and a solution was found about 2 months ago in this very forum thread. It has to do with using the /tmp directory which seems to have some kind of caching which avoids repeated physical disk writing (causing the unexpected counter increase...). See t...

Hi Puma,
Maybe you want to share the content of your script before someone can comment?

Hi Eek, thanks for your suggestion. I tried updating via ssh. However, the first time it failed; for some reason it wanted me to configure Squeezecenter first (which I simply started using the indicated command). After that the update via ssh was successful. Right now my Bubba uses version 1:2.6.26....
