Re: e-Sata?

Okay I tried this, but I see no sign that my disk was detected. :( Strange.
Seem like the Bubba 2 is just not detecting the disk. It is possible the e-stat controller in my external disk is too old? Also the connector doesn't sit well in the bubba 2, it almost loose I would say.

Re: FTD Crash.

That's is fine, but a https URL shouldn't take down the entire FTD process. ;) It seems that any malformed or unsupported URL/torrent files will crash the FTD process. A little annoying. :-/

Re: e-Sata?

I know this is a basic Linux question, but is there an easy why to see which device my disk is assigned to? Or is sdb1 a linux standard?

e-Sata?

I tried connecting an e-Sata external disk to one of the e-Sata ports on my Bubba 2 but the admin GUI didn't seem to detect anything. So I tried the same disk using a USB connection and it worked fine. Do I need to do anything special to have the Bubba detect a disk via an e-Sata connection?

Re: FTD Crash.

Something new as of today, the FTD process was using 100% CPU for some reason and killing the server. Even after restarting the FTD via the console, it got "stuck" on checking existing files. I had to stop all of my torrent downloads (only 3 files) to recover the system. After stopping all...

FTD Crash.

Hello Excito team, Found a problem with the FTD. Try this torrent link via the GUI download page: https://isohunt.com/download/97992937/1080p.torrent Crashes the FTD hard. I have to delete the hidden file in the "torrents" folder and manually restart the FTD service from the console to get...

Bubba 2 + Mediatomb + ffmpegthumbnailer

Hello, I am using the Mediatomb upnp server on my bubba. I read from several websites that I can install ffmpeg + ffmpegthumbnailer to allow Mediatomb to generate thumbnails for video files. ffthumbnailer can be found here: http://packages.debian.org/unstable/main/ffmpegthumbnailer However I cannot ...

Torrent Downloader Crash

Hello, Just a little bug to report: I added an invalid torrent link to the downloader and got an error: 'Malformed Torrent File', which is fine. Then I added it a second time by mistake, so I had two entries in the download list visible through the web console. I clicked 'Cancel' on one of the downl...

I used 10 year old 128mb USB stick formatted (from the factory) FAT16 and it worked great. The update went very smoothly.

Well that is not exactly my problem, but I do notice the same behavior during file copies. BUT, I believe this is normal as the OS will use any free memory for "disk caches". If you use the 'top' command you can see how much memory is being consumed by the disk cache on the bottom right of...

ftd.bin using lots of RAM

Hello guys, My Bubba2 has been running very well, nice and stable. Only thing I noticed is that the B2 alway had very little free RAM. It was not swapping yet, but I there was not much load on the server. So I made an adjustment MySql to disable the innodb, which helped alot. Saves a good 50mb. Now....
