I ran a test earlier today and can verify that I could recreate your problem this time. But sofar I have not had time to investigate it any further.

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
Hi,
I will try tonight to do some further debugging, the backup job that I created previously was not that large so it is possibly the reason for me not seeing the errors that you do.
Can I proceed with using the same username/pass as you send me before?

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
Hi,
On line 743 in the backup script, try increasing the verbose level, change "-v 5" to a higher value to get more debug data in the log file. If I remember correctly the highest value is "9".

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
Hi again,
I just used the jobfile you send and (unfortunately for debug purposes) that worked just fine. If you check your ftp account you will find two jobs there that I just uploaded.
Which means that there have to be something else that differs. What version of bubba software are you using?

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
Hi, I just ran a test with your jobfile (and the username you send me separately) and that worked as far as connecting. Of course the backup did not work since I could not log in... To me it seems as if there is a problem with resolving the name, or a timeout when connecting. Can you run: host xxxxx...

Re: Write errors when backup to FTP target
The password shall not be listed in this entry in the log file so that is correct.
It seems as if the backup can not find your target host.
Can you post a couple of lines prior to this:

Re: Backup on USB work or not??
If you have command line access, delete the file that holds any queued jobs by, as root, running the command:
Then kill any running job by the command:
/PA
Code: Select all
rm -f /etc/bubba-backup.queue
Code: Select all
killall backup.pl

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
This seems odd, can you post the boot-log?
Reboot and the log in as admin, then Settings->Logs and choose syslog.
Post the output from the reboot.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
Can you post the part from the syslog when you connect you disk?
If you reconnect it it should be at the end of the log ("Settings->Logs -> syslog") and say something about "/dev/sdb". Post the section around that entry.

Re: RAID Questions
Unfortunately I can confirm this, I took some time last night to set it up myself and restoring to the internal drive does not currently work.
We will look into this as soon as possible.

Re: RAID Questions
If you have the external disk connected during boot, bubba will detect that you have a raid system and initialize it, but not use it. So in order to recover the raid, boot without the external disk connected. Once Bubba has booted connect you external disk with RAID information. You should then be a...

Hi,
No, that was unfortunately not the one I meant.
The one I want is the first page of the "Disk" section "Disk->Information".
