Re: B3 - brief note on File Sharing / Git / Backup
Affa seems reasoneable, I think I'll go ahead and try it out on my B2.
In the meanwhile, have you tried any of the backup software you mentioned, or have you found other worth trying out?

Bah, I did a reset of the root password (set it to blank again) and restarted the upgrade. The upgrade install procedure went thru without problems.

Re: Configuring squeezecenter during update
Afaik if you can log into Mysql with a blank password, you should be able to upgrade your bubba using a blank password. Perhaps you could post the error messages you get when trying to update? There is a prompt error message in plain text, after that there's a message in gray with blue background s...

Twonky on B3?
Hi,
I tried to install Twonky from theirs homepage, but I guess the arhitecture is wrong. I tried both Linux versions without success...
Will there be any support for Twonky on our beloved B3's?

Re: B3: Samba connection SIGHUP...
I've switched to a static IP address.
Works fine, from what I've seen so far there're no SIGHUPS yet.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Making backup server go remote for searching what to bac
Maybe I'd just trash this script and start all over.
My aim with such script is:
- make the backup server contact the main server
- go through home directories on main server
- rsync all the changed files/directories on main server back to the backup server.
