Hi Tor,

Can you explain which modules are included in this package ? Or explain what Elektronik i Norden are doing with ftdi_sio displays ? Sounds like an interesting project.

Thanks to both of you for the comments. As I suspected, adding AFP support seems to be more complicated than was suggested by wetigon above. I do get frustrated by linux bods who blithely say "Oh, you just do this and then this and you're ready to go". I am pretty technically savvy with b...

Debian updates....

I am not too sure if it's just my imagination...but.... At the weekend I did an apt upgrade from the Debian sources. This included some fixes for Apache2 / Clamav / and PHP. Since then Bubba has felt alot "snappier" . Even navigating around the my Wordpress blog. Anyone else noticed this ?...

Agreed, this would be useful. My current setup consists of my ADSL modem + Wireless LAN router + Bubba. To merge these into one product would be great, although as Johanne says the current processor would not be able to cope with the extra workload. A standalone router is cheap enough these days. I ...

I had a similar problem after I had done this hack. I think you need to restart apache to get it to show the time according to the correct timezone. I think I just rebooted Bubba and that solved it.

What operating system are you using ? On Linux and XP I was able to surf to http://bubba/ without problem. I have just upgraded to Vista and my laptop can now only access Bubba by surfing to the IP address and not the host name. My Linux box and Router both pick up Bubba's hostname but not Vista. Th...

Hi Tor, This is something that changed after the last update. Before if I had the directory full of old torrents, added a new one and clicked 'Add from directory' it would briefly display all the duplicate torrents and then remove them leaving only the new ones. After the update it will now display ...

Hi, The next version of ftd will also include resume downloads on restart and the feature to download torrents written to a specific directory. /Tor Great ! For your information, my problems relating to FTD crashes are caused by having an existing torrent file saved in the download directory which ...

This sounds really interesting. I would really like to connect a USB camera and motion detection software onto my Bubba to act as a remote security monitoring system.

Any more information or experiences would be great !

Tried to do an strace on an active FTD process and then attempted to load up another torrent, this is it's output (which means nothing to me) sched_yield() = 0 sched_yield() = 0 gettimeofday({1178181653, 836986}, NULL) = 0 select(77, [7 18 22 34 39 45 76], [18 34 39 45 76], [7 18 22 34 39 45 76], {1...

The only thing that stood out this time was that the target directory name created by the download was containing several spaces (seven of them)... Does anyone know how long I should wait for ftd to check my existing file structu...

Thanks all ! I am now back to a working front-end. I will leave things to settle for a while and then do some strace's to try and find why FTD falls over when I try to download new torrents whilst downloading existing. I guess since no one else is having this issue it must be something to do with my...

Hmm, I seem to have messed things up a bit whilst trying to downgrade my web-admin interface.

Can anyone tell me where I can extract the proper 'Excito' interface web admin files to place is /usr/share/web-admin (and sub-directories) ?
