They are already (in Bubba Two that is) split up in two partitions, one system partition and one user partition (/home). When re-installing the system, two options will be available, whereof one won't touch your user data.

A Raid1-solution on the two eSATA interfaces still isn't a bad idea. Reason; harddrives fail, and if my main drive should die then it's nice knowing my content is still there, and reasonably safe. :)

I happened to notice that a user manual for bubba|two is now available at http://download.excito.net/web/BubbaTwo ... index.html.

... just in case you overlooked it ;)

Ok now it's possible to order at Excito shop. When will you enable "no disk" option?

Ok, since we have received heavy pressure on the no-disk option we have re-enabled it again! :) Read the FAQ though about what disks we recommend to use, we'll test more disks as soon as we can.

Wohoo! Mine is in the mail!

And I'm just reading up on the newly posted manual...
Why did you have to make the default hostname "bubba" and not something more sensible like "bubba2"?

Oh well, no plug-and-play for me as there is already a "bubba" on my network, but at least I have some tinkering to look forward to :-)

Cheers,
