apt-mirror or similar caching of .deb's

I am quire a distro hoper and like to fiddle with debian-live to cook up my own live CDs and would like to run something like apt-mirror, squid or apt-cache on my B2 to save some bandwindth for the good folks at debian. This sort of caching would be a feature in my opinion. Given the limited B2 computing power I am unsure about the best way to implement local caching of bandwidth intensive and duplicative web traffic without doing too much spying on myself. Please consider includeing some caching cabibilty in future spins. I appreciate that this is probably more of a wiki/how to question. V/R.

Apt-cacher-ng is working well for me as a .deb cacher in support of my distro hopping. The default configuration worked well except that I had to change the default cache folder moved from / to /home. I rescind my feature request.
